The Sew Easy is here! We R Memory Keepers has come out with another amazing tool. Just like it's name suggests, it's sooo easy! The tool is a stitch piercer that you simply roll across your paper to create "perfectly aligned holes" that can then be stitched up with a threaded needle! There are several replacement heads that can be purchased to create different stitches and patterns onto your projects (pictured to the left). Fine & Dandy

My Mind's Eye is always one of my favorite compaines... and I absolutely LOVE their newest line we just got in. It's called Fine & Dandy. One of things I love about this line is that it has tons of papers, stickers, and embellishments that coordinate. There are two different color schemes in the line. One has a brown, teal, and yellow theme with and adorable owl, and the other color scheme is pink and orange with little birdies. Fancy Pants Designs

We got in two new adorable lines from Fancy Pants Designs!
One line is called Hot Chocolate. I love the theme and colors on this line! It has deep brown, red, and blues, along with snowflakes, and a cute little snowman. This line is perfect for scrapbooking your outdoor holiday memories, or your warm winter nights indoors.
The second line is called Love Birds... (yes Valentine's Day themed product already!!). This line is adorable and has cute little birdies on it. Perfect for scrapbooking the loved ones in your life! Stop in and check out the cute new additions to our scrapbooking aisles.

new DOODLEBUG!!

Happy Doodlebug Day everyone! :) New Doodlebug Designs has arrived.. and I couldn't be more excited! They are my absolute favorite company, and I've been waiting for their new product arrival since CHA in July. We have three brand new lines from them: Bon Appetite, Welcome Home, and Happy Holidays.... all three lines are absolutely adorable! There are stickers, border stickers, brads, rhinestones, & buttons. They have also released rhinestones and boutique buttons that coordinate with their existing lines. Pictured is the sticker from the Bon Appetit line. This line is perfect for scrapbooking your favorite recipes... it has a retro look and a funky color scheme that is adorable. GO TWINS! Vinyl

We got in new vinyl for all you TWINS fans! You can do so much with it, even put it on the window of your car or home to show your support. Just in time for the playoffs!

Go TWINS! Glass Block: The vinyl size is a little shy of 8x8, and retails for $8.99.
1. I cut apart the vinyl and applied it to the white magnetic board.
2. I applied the vinyl to a glass block and filled it with shelled peanuts (one medium size bag is all it took).
3. I added wide red satin ribbon and wrapped it around the glass block starting at the bottom, securing it with hot glue.
4. I took the baseball ribbon and hot glued it in the center of the red ribbon working my way around the glass block. It is as easy as that.

Go TWINS! Magnetic Board:
1. I cut apart the vinyl and applied it to the white magnetic board.
2. I made the magnets using med size flat glass marbles, cardstock, circle punches (1" & 1 1/8"), red extra fine paint pen, glossy accents and magnets.
3. Punch 1" circles from white cardstock & 1 1/8" circles from red or navy cardstock.
4. I drew the stitching on the white circles using the painty pen.
5. Using glossy accents adhere the white circles to the center of the red or navy circles. I put colored cardstock behind the white so the magnet doesn't show through in step 7.
6. Then apply glossy accents to the flat side of the marble and place the punched circles (baseballs) face down into it pressing evenly to get out the air bubbles. Let dry.
7. Once dry adhere magnet to the back of the marble (the cardstock side) using glossy accents. Let Dry.
8. All you need to do is add your favorite photos or notes, and tie some ribbon around the hanger part to finish it off.

Go Twins! Party Pail: This is the easiest one of them all.
1. Apply vinyl to a clear party pail, which we sell here and they are on special for $4.98.
2. I hot glued some ribbon along the top rim, glue dots would also work well.
3. Fill with some shred, favorite snacks, and I added our version of the "Homer Hankie", which is a 12x12 piece cut from fleece that we also sell.

Dr. Seuss Fabric!

You have got to come in and see this collection of fabric. Robert Kaufmann came out with the cutest group of Dr. Seuss fabric. The colors are very bright and cheerful just like the books.

Oh My Mind's Eye!

We have A LOT of new My Mind's Eye product in the Paper Crafts department! They have come out with 6 new mini-lines: Alphabet Soup (boy & girl collections), Blackbird, Haunted , Holly Jolly, and I Believe. Each line has eight papers, die cuts, as well some embellishments to coordinate. I am a huge Halloween fan, and I absolutely love the Blackbird collection! It has whimsical trick-or-treaters that are just adorable!

MME also introduced a new line on a spin rack called Lost & Found. This line is gorgeous... and unlike anything they have come out with in the past. There are four different color schemes in the line. All the papers have glittered accents on them, and each line has lots of die cuts, ribbons, buttons and other pieces that coordinate. Lost & Found is a great addition to our My Mind's Eye collection... be sure to stop by and check out all these great lines!

SNOOZIES are here!!

Yes, Snoozies are here. What are "Snoozies"? They are not a sock, and not a slipper. They are the newest, softest, most amazing foot covering ever. They are made with a brushed fleece exterior and then lined with a soft Sherpa fleece inside. They are sooo very soft, comfy, warm and just simply adorable in colorful and fun printed patterns. they have non skid soles, and are fully machine washable and won't shrink! We have them in women and children's/tweens sizes.

MME: Lost & Found

LOTS of new My Mind's Eye has arrived! One of my favorite new lines is the Lost & Found collection... there are four lines within the collection. They all have great color schemes and lots of embellishments & accessories to coordinate. Lost & Found is so different from anything My Mind's Eye has done in the past, it has a vintage look with glitter. So cool! They also came out with 6 new mini-lines (yes...six!)

A new Grab, Go Sew project. We just received 7 styles of aprons for Springs Creative. They are actually Fabric Panels and need very little assembly. There's even a "Guy" apron with a grilling theme. These would make great gifts to make( quick) or even great gifts to give to your favorite sewer.

Westminsterand Sizzix Cutting System

This has been a busy and exciting week and it's only Wednesday. We just got in the Die cut System from Sizzix and Westminster Fabrics. The dies are really cute and the best part is, If you don't see what you like for dies in the Quilt Shop, You can always run down to the Paper Crafts and see what dies they have that you would like. We also have been recieving a TON of new patterns.Like I said it's been a busy week with all the new stuff coming in. Oh, yes Fabric, Fabric, Fabric. We have very full shelves again( it's a good thing). Come in and see all the new stuff.

New Echo Park!!

Hope it's not to early to say this, but... Happy Halloween! That is the new collection that just arrived today from Echo Park! Echo Park is a brand new company that started up just a few months ago. Happy Halloween is our fourth collection of product by them, and Echo Park is quickly starting to become one of our favorites!! Their fun Halloween collection is complete with twelve awesome printed papers, two 12x12 sticker sheets, and the complete page kit. Fire Pots

Look what's Hot at Crafts Direct - literally!! Table top fire pots! They have a metal holder, a glass cylinder and a can to place the fuel gel in. They come with an assortment of size and colored stones to give them an earthy appearance. Simply fill the can with the Gel Fuel (sold separately) to an inch below the rim of the can. Gel Fuel has some citronella in it also. Light the gel and your fire pot will provide you with smokeless fire for hours. Always something new at Crafts Direct!

Inspirational Rooms

We have three new lines in our Inspirational Room. Colorful Devotions is a line with a variety of styles. Figurine type, frames, magnets, and signage.

The Donna Downey is a 2010 line that has a blending of traditional and unexpected items; like wood, canvas and wire. Modern colors and messages for the mind as well as a beautiful decor piece. Both lines come with their own peg stands for free standing or key holes for hanging. Super awesome!

We also have little decorative hanging plaques. They are created by an artist named Kathy Andrew Fincher. She truly believes that children are our most precious gift from above. She uses dry pastel medium and paints on canvas to create adorable scenes with children. She then composes verses to match the pictures and references a biblical verse to coordinate it all. Over 20 styles from which you can choose. We also have some new 10" x 10" plaques to add to Kathy's collection that we already have. Her lines make great gifts, and you may choose to get a few for yourself! Her art tends to give you a sense of tranquility.

Mini Plates

I know, I know, it is only the 4th of July, but we already have received our shipment of fall mini plates. Let me tell you, they are adorable!!! Lots of new designs have come in that can be used year round. We also have a new table top display rack. It is nice for coasters or the round mini plates. With all the sales coming up, it might be a great time to check these out!
