Origins & Sugar Rush- Basic Grey's New Lines

We have gotten in two new lines from Basic Grey, Sugar Rush and Origins. They have two completely different looks, and I love them both. Sugar Rush would work great for scrapbooking or paper crafting projects for Valentine's Day. Origins is a great line for outdoorsy layouts, in hues of brown, yellow and green. Nicole, who designs and teaches our mini book classes, made this adorable layout using the Origins line, that is displayed in an 8x8 shadowbox.

This line is also great for covering items such as mdf boxes that can be displayed in your home. Here are a couple boxes Megan decorated using this line and they turned out fabulous.

Superwash Yarn Has Arrived!

We've had requests about getting this style of yarn in, and here it is!

Three new yarns are here, all from Reynolds. Wash Day Wool and Hopscotch are both under Reynolds Kids Collection. Both are 100% superwash wool, machine washable in cold water. Hopscotch is a supersoft, single ply, thick to thin yarn. Wash Day Wool is a durable sport weight yarn, that can even go in and out of the dryer.

Reynolds Revue is 100% wool merino extrafine superwash. There is a very nice spring to the yarn. It's got a slight twist and will give you great stitch definition.

We also have several new books from Reynolds whose patterns showcase the yarn very nicely.

Aunt Martha Patterns

This is really kind of fun. I don't usually have much new for those of you who like to embroider, but Aunt Martha has two new patterns out. Happy Hour has 9 delightful drinks. Of course there the ever popular Martini's and mojito's. They also have put out a pattern of Aircraft. Both patterns are well done and will be fun for you to stitch.
