Vintage Ornament Kits

Leah just ordered in the cutest ornament kits from Chickadee Hollow Designs. They are pre -colored and ready to stitch. There's just something about these little cuties. Something else kind of fun, is that Chickadee Hollow Designs is a company right in our own back yard. They are located in New London Mn. If You embroider you have to check these out. I think they would make great Christmas gifts.

This "Embrace the simple things in life..." jewelry is adorable. Necklaces and bracelets that are very motivational, inspirational as well as stylish. Great for a treating yourself or giving as a sentimental gift.

Whats New in the Inspirational Rooms

Well it is time to make a trip to the Inspirational Rooms, we have some new arrivals. First off we now have a spinner rack with inspirational cards. There is birthday, congratulations, anniversary, wedding, baby, friendship and more. And guess what they are only .99 cents. What an exceptional deal!

Now if that isn't enough, we also have gotten in new wall art and frames. Some really beautiful pieces. Again, what can I say except "it is time to stop in and check it out!"

Cosmopolitan Wallets

We have a new shipment of Cosmopolitan purses that just came in. They are even more fashionable then the last ones. Some have a spot for your cell phone, or a coin pocket, in wonderful colors and styles and some that come with a removable chain/shoulder strap.

Flameless Candles

I gotta tell you, if you are looking for an everlasting glow, flamesless candles are what you are looking for! We have flameless, battery operated tealights, votives, remote control, timer, and more. We have some that have waxed outsides and drips to make them look even more realistic. The timer series allows you to set the time you want your flameless candle to come on every night-automatically. It will then stay on for 5 hours and shut off automatically for 19 hours and then come back on. Incredible!! If you want to turn it on or off at anytime it has a feature for that too. All the candles flicker just like a real flame, but are much safer. Come to our candle aisle to check them out.

Think Pink

FYI,

We still have our Think Pink kiosk with some new additions to it. We just have moved it to a new location in the store. It is now by the beads and basics demo counter. We want to make sure everyone sees it no matter which aisles they shop in. Some of the new additions are a glass breast cancer nail file and fashion scarves to go along with the great selection of other breast cancer items.

Beads & Basics!

Here are just a few of the fabulous new items that the Beads & Basics Department (Aisles 19-22) have received in the past week:

Bead Smith Products:
This company is relatively new & carries some wonderful jewelry supplies. One of which is the Four-In-One Pliers: Just when you think you've seen it all... this finely made all-purpose plier can loop, cut, flatten, and close jump rings. It's a must have for any beader. Also pictured are the Bead Ruler, Leather Hole Punch, Round Hollow Pleires, Jewelry Wand- Bracelet & Necklace Clasp Fastener, and spools of colored Hemp!!

Beadalon Anvil & Block:
These are two great items for anyone working with wire. The 3x3" Steel Bench Block or the Desktop Anvil are ideal for wire forming projects. You can use the large flat surfaces for shaping and flattening wire.

JHB Buttons:
These beautiful buttons would add a nice decorative touch to any jewelry piece, sewing project or scrapbook page! They can be found on the button endcap at the front of Aisles 19 & 20.

Jewelry Tags & Displays:
We've had a lot of requests for these two products from crafters who sell their jewelry pieces at craft shows. We now carry pricing tags that are perfect for labeling your product. This pack comes with 1,000 labels and a marking pen. You'll also find great earring cards (100pcs per box.) This black foam ring display holds 72 rings.

Stickers & Stamps:
Darice has a few new styles of foamie sticker buckets including one called Dottie Alphabet and also Under the Sea. In with the children's crafts you'll also find some great rubber stamp collections for kids. The two styles shown are Enchanted Faries and Dinosaurs.

Remember this?!

I'm sure many of you grew up with at least a few copies of the Little Golden Books. I know one of my favorites was always the story of "The Poky Little Puppy" - so imagine my surprise when I'm walking through the Fabric area and I see some new fabric with that design on it!

There are a few Golden Book fabrics to choose from - one of the panels (shown) is set up so you can sew a fabric version of the book. What an adorable baby shower gift that would make!


Another new collection that has just arrived is called Cogsmo by Cosmo Cricut. This collection features a fun printed panel with fanciful robots and gears - these coordinating prints would make a wonderful kid's quilt!

New Yarns

We have three new yarns from Red Heart. Designer Sport is a great 3 ply yarn. It has all the same great characteristics as the original sport, but it's been done in much brighter colors and it's a lot softer to the touch. It will be great for making baby items. The Red Heart Collage yarn is a 4 ply acrylic yarn with all the beauty of a wool yarn. It has a very "natural look" with the benefit of being soft and washable. Last but not least is the Red Heart Zoomy Yarn. This a really fun little 6 ply super bulky yarn. This yarn is really hard to explain. It's 70% Acrylic 20% wool and 10% nylon blend. I think it would make the best sweater yarn.( If I knew how to knit, I'd make myself one.) Cozy, yet fun colors.

"Real " Fish Fabric

Hurry in a take a look at this fabric collection from Granola Girl. Catch of the day features "real" fish, you know the kind that we can actually catch in the lakes and rivers of Minnesota. There's also a little panel that captures the restfulness of a day on the lake. The coordinates are to die for. Lures, all over fish and great tone on tones. OOH, my brain is spinning, Who do I make this quilt for??? Husband, son, son in laws??? Any way I don't think we're going to keep this on the shelf very long, so don't put off your trip in to get this group of fabric.
