Stitchery Kits

O.K. only for those of you who do this kind of work will I even say this word right now. Christmas, yep the Christmas stitchery kits have begun to arrive. We have also gotten in some of the Felt Stocking kits. So for those of you who don't procrastinate like me, they're here and ready for you take them home.

So Much Paper (I love it!)

Wow, let me take a deep breath before starting on this one....Okay!

I 'll start with what people seem to be really excited about: We-R-Memory Keepers has just come out with a new Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper. This is a 2 in 1 corner rounder cuts both 1/4" and 1/2" round corners. It Works beautifully on thick and thin projects. You can easily cut through paper, cardstock, chipboard, leather, plastic, acrylic/poly and more! Pictured along with the Corner Chomper you will see some beautiful new papers from the same company.

Fancy Pants has some adorable new summer paper and matching rub-ons. You'll also see: a cute 5x8 notebook journal, a mixed media flower book (made up of chipboard, felt & transparent sheets), and some funky acrylic stamps!

Check out all these photo albums! They're amazing! Choose from beautiful leather bound & embossed ones, or smaller albums in fun colors & patterns!

Patterns, Pens & more

There have been some very exciting additions to the Paints & Frames Department recently.
The first of which are the great assortment of new woodcraft patterns. My favorite are the Whimsical Birdhouses, but there are also new bird feeder, bookshelf & outdoor decor patterns too!

You will also find a Figure Drawing Introduction Set. It includes a 16 page instructional booklet, mannequin, 6 drawing pencils, an eraser & sharpener. Everything you need to get started!

Pictured along with the drawing set is our new Engraving Pen. (We've had a lot of requests for this product.) It works on many surfaces including wood, metal, plastic, leather & glass. It's great for labeling tools & valuables.

There are a few new instructional books too - the ones for Quilling have some great ideas for cardmaking & also for creative scrapbooking. Pick up this Origami book & you can learn how to fold up many different adorable animals!

In the unfinished wood area you will find two new sizes of wooden oars. I can picture one of these painted up an hanging in a cabin!

Primative & Up North Decor

We have just received some adorable new items in the Home Decor department. If you like the primitive look - you'll love these new arrivals. Farm animal figurines that look like old-fashioned pull-toys & assorted decorative jars are a few of the newer items.

Maybe "Up North" is more your theme. If so, we have a few fun items for you! The first of which is this funny bear wine bottle holder. He can be found lounging around with many other bear figurines & "woodsy" signs. There are also many different loon decorations to choose from. Stop by & check them out!

Reynold's Cottontail Yarn

This cotton yarn is a blend of 60% cotton and 40% microfiber - making it perfect for apparel! Although this yarn is marketed for children, I can see how the colors and the feel of this yarn will appeal to "children" of all ages!

There's also a book of really cute patterns to use this yarn. It's called Reynolds Kids - it has absolutely the cutest kids sweater dress patterns in it.

Cuddle Fleece from Shannon Fabrics

This is a super soft fabric that makes great baby blankets as well as a special treat for someone you want to treat to something extra special.

It comes in a variety or styles as well as colors.

This fabric is a great way to add a little pizzaz to any quilting project!

Perler Beads & Jewelry Beads

Blue Moon Beads has come out with an absolutely beautiful new line of beads called Fresh. It's made up of a mixture of metal & acrylic pendants and beads, along with assorted colored cording & metal "frames" to hold some of the pieces.

We have also just received new Perler Bead kits! There are Disney kits (both small & large), a rock band kit, design your own t-shirt bucket & a few new colors of beads.

8x8 Shadow Box Frames!

Due to the immense popularity of the 12x12 shadow box frames - we have now received them in a smaller 8x8 size!

The most popular project for these frames has been to adhere a vinyl rub-on to the outside of the glass & fill the inside with your favorite paper and embellishments (see picture.) The great thing is that we already carry many vinyl rub-ons that will fit this new size. The 8x8 frame currently is only available in black, but this fall we will be getting it in white also.
