Here are just a few of the many new items that have been arriving in our store lately:

Christmas Felt Kits by Dimensions:
Yes, we know it's June - but we have received some adorable new Christmas kits. There are a few styles of felt stockings, and also some adorable ornament kits. All of the felt needed for this project comes in pre-cut pieces making for easier assembly! These fun whimsical designs are beautiful & would make a great gift.

Make Your Own Purse:
A new style of purse handle has just arrived. The wonderful thing about this steel ball frame purse, is that the ends can be detached, so you can easily switch out the fabric purse to match your outfit. Patterns are available, so you can make as many purses as you like. The handle is available in two sizes.

Toddler Bibs:
These pullover velour bibs are available in three colors & can be embroidered. Each bib comes with a Dancing Elephant pattern. The 14 count stitching area is 35h x 172w.

Sulky Fabri-Solvy:
This fabric-like stabilizer provides the supple feel of fabric, with the easy removability of a water soluble stabilizer. Great for: quilting, 3-d applique, monogramming, delicate fabrics, buttonholes, cut-work and much more!

Pilot Frixion Pens:
These new pens work wonderful for marking fabric. It uses a unique thermo-sensitive ink that reacts to temperature changes - this means you can mark a pattern on fabric, then iron it when you no longer need it - and it will disappear!

We are starting to get in some great Summer themed products! The fun, bright colors make me really excited for warmer weather (and to start scrapbooking all those "fun in the sun" memories!).
We got in the new Beach Bum & Beach Babe lines from Fancy Pants Designs. LOVE these! Beach Bum is more "boy" themed with a blue, green, and orange color schemes. The papers have palm trees, flip flops, and cute sharks. Beach Babe is girly with bright pink, orange, and yellow... cute little fish and beach umbellas are on the papers and embellishments. Each of these lines have lots of patterned papers, along with tons of embellishments, chipboard, buttons, and stickers to complete your layouts.Another adorable Summer themed line we've got in recently is Summer Days by Echo Park. Cards from John Schreiber

We now carry note cards designed by John Schreiber. John is a 21-year-old St. Cloud native with asperger's syndrome, a form of autism. He began to experiment with colors and designs as a way to reduce anxiety and to improve his fine motor skills as he colored each design using gel pens, crayons, colored pencils and markers. John has many other interest which include volunteering at the public library.

New Products for Aisle 1

Several new Wilton products have just arrived, the first of which are Color Bands. These elastic bands can be tied around items as a way of personalizing them with your color: Wrap around the ringbearer's pillow, tie around the flower girl's basket, or cover the stems of your wedding day bouquet.

Other Wilton products include favor boxes (available in several colors) and this cute lantern centerpiece.

Ivy Lane Designs also came out with a line of charms to personalize your wedding or prom garter.

It's that time of the year! Our department has been very busy putting out all the new products that have been coming in from our CHA trip! There's so much I can't name everything that's new, but here's a few of our favorite things so far:

1. Stella & Rose by My Mind's Eye. This is a huge line that has a vintage look. There are papers, ribbons, stamps, stickers, and 6x6 paper pads... each line has a ton of pieces that coordinate. Pictured is the "Mabel" 6x6 paper pad.... so cute!

2. Campy Trails by American Crafts. This line is a great for scrapping all your camping/outdoor memories this summer! It has cute little animals with earth tone colors, and lots of embellishments to create the perfect layout.
3. New Disney by EK Success. It's about time we got in some new Disney products! There is lots of new Pooh, Toy Story, Sesame Street (papers!), and Rapunzel/Tangled! Check out our Disney themed section to see all the new stickers and papers!
4. To the Moon & It's the Little Things by Fancy Pants. Both lines are so cute! I personally love It's the Little Things. It's a vintage-y line with muted colors and floral patterns.

5. Of course my absolute favorite....Doodlebug cards and envelopes. There is an entire rack full of openstock cards & envelopes in 9 amazing colors! Each color has 8 different styles to choose from. There is endless possibilities with these cute cards...and the each retail for only 79 cents!

Just wanted to let you all know that we now have two racks of glasses in stock. One rack is full of sunglasses. Lots and lots of styles, colors, very fashionable! We also have another rack full of readers, with a wide array of magnifications powers, accessories and sunglasses with bifocals in them. I am not kidding! These sunglasses are just what I need. Inspirational Rooms

In case you can not tell I am super excited about the Inspirational Rooms! They are definitely full of awesome new and regular products. First off the "Living Life" print by Bonnie Mohr and the "Do It Anyway" print by Mother Teresa are back in. Then we have some beautiful new crosses that just arrived. Some are very rustic and others are very colorful. Great for all occasions.

We have a complete line of Donna Downey wall art. This consists of the latest colors and words of inspiration while mixing canvas and wood and wire. The pieces are 7 inch squares or 12 inch squares. Very eye catching!

Just arrived are pill boxes, magnets, candle holders, and wall art that is framed w/glass, wood on wood to create a very elegant layered look, and canvas' all with inspiring words. It is just breathe taking!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the "numbers of faith" line that we now carry. These designs center around faith making the words the actually the art work. Again medias are mixed using plexiglass, wood and canvas with biblical verses and quotes to make each piece very unique!

Happy Doodlebug Day everyone! :) New Doodlebug Designs has arrived.. and I couldn't be more excited! They are my absolute favorite company, and I've been waiting for their new product arrival since CHA in July. We have three brand new lines from them: Bon Appetite, Welcome Home, and Happy Holidays.... all three lines are absolutely adorable! There are stickers, border stickers, brads, rhinestones, & buttons. They have also released rhinestones and boutique buttons that coordinate with their existing lines. Pictured is the sticker from the Bon Appetit line. This line is perfect for scrapbooking your favorite recipes... it has a retro look and a funky color scheme that is adorable. GO TWINS! Vinyl

We got in new vinyl for all you TWINS fans! You can do so much with it, even put it on the window of your car or home to show your support. Just in time for the playoffs!

Go TWINS! Glass Block: The vinyl size is a little shy of 8x8, and retails for $8.99.
1. I cut apart the vinyl and applied it to the white magnetic board.
2. I applied the vinyl to a glass block and filled it with shelled peanuts (one medium size bag is all it took).
3. I added wide red satin ribbon and wrapped it around the glass block starting at the bottom, securing it with hot glue.
4. I took the baseball ribbon and hot glued it in the center of the red ribbon working my way around the glass block. It is as easy as that.

Go TWINS! Magnetic Board:
1. I cut apart the vinyl and applied it to the white magnetic board.
2. I made the magnets using med size flat glass marbles, cardstock, circle punches (1" & 1 1/8"), red extra fine paint pen, glossy accents and magnets.
3. Punch 1" circles from white cardstock & 1 1/8" circles from red or navy cardstock.
4. I drew the stitching on the white circles using the painty pen.
5. Using glossy accents adhere the white circles to the center of the red or navy circles. I put colored cardstock behind the white so the magnet doesn't show through in step 7.
6. Then apply glossy accents to the flat side of the marble and place the punched circles (baseballs) face down into it pressing evenly to get out the air bubbles. Let dry.
7. Once dry adhere magnet to the back of the marble (the cardstock side) using glossy accents. Let Dry.
8. All you need to do is add your favorite photos or notes, and tie some ribbon around the hanger part to finish it off.

Go Twins! Party Pail: This is the easiest one of them all.
1. Apply vinyl to a clear party pail, which we sell here and they are on special for $4.98.
2. I hot glued some ribbon along the top rim, glue dots would also work well.
3. Fill with some shred, favorite snacks, and I added our version of the "Homer Hankie", which is a 12x12 piece cut from fleece that we also sell.

We have A LOT of new My Mind's Eye product in the Paper Crafts department! They have come out with 6 new mini-lines: Alphabet Soup (boy & girl collections), Blackbird, Haunted , Holly Jolly, and I Believe. Each line has eight papers, die cuts, as well some embellishments to coordinate. I am a huge Halloween fan, and I absolutely love the Blackbird collection! It has whimsical trick-or-treaters that are just adorable!

MME also introduced a new line on a spin rack called Lost & Found. This line is gorgeous... and unlike anything they have come out with in the past. There are four different color schemes in the line. All the papers have glittered accents on them, and each line has lots of die cuts, ribbons, buttons and other pieces that coordinate. Yes, Snoozies are here. What are "Snoozies"? They are not a sock, and not a slipper. They are the newest, softest, most amazing foot covering ever. We have three new lines in our Inspirational Room. Colorful Devotions is a line with a variety of styles. Figurine type, frames, magnets, and signage.

The Donna Downey is a 2010 line that has a blending of traditional and unexpected items; like wood, canvas and wire. Modern colors and messages for the mind as well as a beautiful decor piece. Both lines come with their own peg stands for free standing or key holes for hanging. Super awesome!

We also have little decorative hanging plaques. They are created by an artist named Kathy Andrew Fincher. She truly believes that children are our most precious gift from above. She uses dry pastel medium and paints on canvas to create adorable scenes with children. She then composes verses to match the pictures and references a biblical verse to coordinate it all. Over 20 styles from which you can choose. We also have some new 10" x 10" plaques to add to Kathy's collection that we already have. Her lines make great gifts, and you may choose to get a few for yourself! Her art tends to give you a sense of tranquility.

Have you been through our fashion rooms lately? We have so many new products throughout the gift area, but the fashion rooms especially have new exciting things!

Little trinket boxes in a variety of colors. These are great for rings, necklaces, coins anything small you do not want to misplace! We have the glass fingernail files back. Fun hand paintings on them. These are suppose to stay sharp forever. Monogrammed luggage tags in bright designs and colors so finding your luggage will be a breeze.

Lots of beautiful necklaces. Individually handcrafted dichroic glass intricately layered and fused together to make simply stunning creations! No two alike! And then we also have inspirational necklaces with sayings, prayers and proverbs on. They are displayed very nicely and they are flying out the door. Oh, we have new inspirational keychain/zipper pulls too.

Fingernail polish! Bright, bold colors and at $1.47 a bottle they are hard to resist! The precision brush makes nail art and french tips super easy!

Think pink end cap has new product too! Wings of Hope necklace and a tweezers and file set. Both have the pink ribbon emblem and are very fashionable.

We are making it easy for you. We have just brought in Skinny Mini and Snap Sack Kits. They make either small wall hangings or table runners. Lots of different styles to choose from. Jeanne and I saw these at the quilt market and knew that you would love them...So here they are.

We also have a pattern that's newer to us that is a great stash/scrap buster. It's called the Little Wallet by Valorie Wells Designs. They go together super quick and are extremely cute. (My rep told me that they were really back ordered, but I didn't want to believe him) So anyway we did finally get them in and we got really cute ones. Lots of variety! We have the Spotted Dog (seems to be a popular one), the Bear, Moose, Cow, Lion, another Dog and the Monkey! Still same great quality, price and still hilarious!!

I am having trouble typing at this moment! I am so pleased and excited about the new line of inspirational cards. There are cards for Birthdays, Belated Birthdays, Get Well, Sympathy, Friendship, Thank you's and then cards for Encouragement, Praying For You, Thinking of You, For Kids, Love, Your Special and more. They are absolutely adorable and there are sayings in them that express exactly what is on your mind. All of these are just .99 cents. I can't even pick one journal that is my favorite, because I absolutely love them all!

These postcards are great the way they are, or you can customize them with your own photos or drawing. There are 4 new ones we have this year; Advice from the Earth, Advice from Moon, Advice from the Campfire, and Advice from the Loon. Adding these to our collection means that we have 22 postcards to choose from. All of them are made from recycled paper and over 60,000 trees have already been planted to replace the paper that is used to make the products.
